The Murphys Hotel’s Rooms &
The Murphys Hotel is a registered National Historic Landmark has hosted such notable historic figures as Ulysses S. Grant, Mark Twain, Horatio Alger, Susan B. Anthony, JP Morgan, John Wayne and Charles Bolton, a.k.a. Black Bart the “Gentleman Bandit.”
It features 29 rooms, 9 of which are in the original historic building, which was built in 1856. The remaining 20 rooms are our modern lodge rooms, located directly adjacent to the historic hotel.
